Hi,
Just wondering if there are specific versions of HDDriver I need to run for my add on's
I am shortly to add a 2GB IDE Flash card on a dual CF > 2.5 IDE adaptor, is there a preferable version to run with this?
Also I have a SCSI DAT that I wish to get up and running, again same question! Do you also know if this supports 'music' DAT as well as 'data' DAT?
my other add on 's are A SCSI DVD drive, works great, a Yamaha CDRW also good and a SCSI3 ( 80 pin to 50 pin ) scsi ZIP, and a Hard drive 18gb ( not all used ) Not sure how to get BIG DOS? up and running for 2gb partitions.
I used to have a working Outside... but I just cannot manage to get it running at the moment! not sure what is wrong!
ATARI Falcon 4MB (16mhz 68882 FPU) scsi-DVD/CDRW/ZIP/DAT + CF(ide)
Thanks
nativ

Re: Falcon IDE / SCSI + Outside
For any kind of memory card, be it CF or SD, HDDRIVER 8.2 or newer is recommended. Older versions may also work, but more recent versions of HDDRIVER offer improved support for these devices.
As far as peripherals other than hard disks are concerned the SCSI driver integrated in HDDRIVER provides access to any peripheral (SCSI, IDE, ATAPI), but for DAT drives or CDRWs you need additional software. Gemar works for DAT drives, but it is not supported anymore. Extendos Pro is what I recommend for any kind of CD/DVD drive.
If you have a DVD drive with DVD RAM support you can use DVD RAM media without any third party software. HDDRIVER is all you need in this case.
SCSI-3 support is not a problem, HDDRIVER and it SCSI driver have supported it for a long time.
