Hi all
I have formatted a fresh 16GB CF connected to IDE of CTPCI (IRQ patch done) using hddriver with TOS and Windows compatibility checked and nothing else. At the root of this drive there is absolu tely nothing but hddriver.sys.
At boot the CF is detected by BIOS and when the Falcon tries to boot it immediately crash with an error message displayed.
So any help appreciated !
Thanks

Re: CT63 crash at boot with CF
I'm not really familiar with the CT63, which is not an officially supported platform for HDDRIVER. What I can say, though, is that for HDDRIVER it does not matter whether a hard disk drive or a memory card is connected. For HDDRIVER these are just IDE drives, and there is no code that works differently with real hard disk drives than with memory cards. There might be a compatibility issue with your IDE adapter and the type of card you are using.
