SCSI2Pi 6.5 is available.
The main changes in this version:
- Device files (e.g., /dev/sda) can now be used as images just as easily as regular image files. For instance, you can now use a USB flash drive for data exchange.
- s2pdump automatically detects whether a device is a SCSI hard drive, a tape drive, or a SASI hard drive.
- As with SCSI drives, s2pdump automatically determines the capacity and sector size of SASI drives.
- The size of the binaries has once again been reduced.
SCSI2Pi benefits from running on a full-fledged Linux. Specially configured SD cards or filesystems are not required. Drive images are simply copied to the Pi via the network, or you can simply connect your USB flash drive to exchange data. You control SCSI2Pi with the SCSI Control App, a web interface, or on the command line. Atari computers are especially well supported with the SCSI2Pi Client Tools. SCSI2Pi is regularly used and tested with the Atari.
Visit the SCSI2Pi website for highly optimized 32/64-bit Bullseye/Bookworm/Trixie binary Debian packages.
Debian has discontinued support for Bullseye. Upgrading to Trixie is therefore recommended. SCSI2Pi 6.5 is the final release to support Bullseye.
